Sculptures Etched Engraved Rocks

Sculptures Etched Rocks

Etched or engraved Rocks have been used as a means of artistic expression since 15,000 BC, evidence of this can be found in many locations worldwide including regions of Africa, France, Spain and Australia . There are huge numbers of petroglyphs,(rock engravings) estimated to be 30,000 years old, in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. These primitive artworks were the inspiration for Irene to experiment and develop her own unique art form over several years.
The process combines Irene's creative skills with modern technology, transforming ordinary rock and stones into unique, original art forms to enhance your environment, creating an impressive feature, or statement.
